About this project
Design Hotels is a service provider and consultant for privately owned hotels and small hotel groups. They wanted a web site that reflects the same impressive ambiance and level of service that they provide to private clients from all over the world.
We designed extremely clean version of the site. It makes you really concentrate on the information the the Design Hotels's attitude to the details. In fact, we're working again to implement techniques, including a landing page strategy toward maximizing conversions, that will bring the site even more success.
They recognized they could benefit from a team that could plan, prioritize, and design functional features to drive real value.
Utilizing our User-Centered Design Methodology we were able to reveal the best of the functionality without overwhelming the user by determing the most important to the least important tasks and clearly labeling controls. A "white label" interface was then designed for the improved interaction- allowing Design Hotels to easily sell and support a great looking, user-friendly system.
Thanks to a smart user experience complemented by a clean, contemporary color palette and overall design that emphasizes their imagery, the Design Hotels site is performing better than ever. They set feasible priorities and made compromises when necessary along the way - when the site launched, it was truly rewarding.
